Common questions
What is Kwontify?
Kwontify is a verified local business directory. Every listing is a record of facts, confirmed directly with the business, dated, and published for both people and AI assistants to read. Nothing here is scraped or guessed.
How does Kwontify verify a fact?
Each fact passes three checks before it is published: a registry check against public records, corroboration against independent sources, and human confirmation with the business itself. The date of the last check travels with the record. The standard behind this is called Vera.
Why can AI assistants read this directory?
Every page is published as complete, server-rendered text with structured data (JSON-LD), so an assistant or crawler gets the full record without running JavaScript. Hours, services, and honest Q&A are stated as machine-readable facts, not marketing copy.
What makes a Kwontify record different from other listings?
A Kwontify record states when each fact was last checked and how it was confirmed. Directories built on scraping or old submissions drift from reality; a dated, sourced record either holds up or gets rechecked.
How does a business get listed?
Start at the For Businesses page. We confirm your facts with you, put them on the record, and keep the record current. Listings are records, not ads; being listed never changes what the record says.
